Seoul of Sydney

Client: Lendlease

Seoul of Sydney saw two of Australia’s best proponents of Korean cuisine, Peter Jo (Melbourne’s Dinner by Kimchi) and Ben Sears (the former Moon Park restaurant in Sydney), join forces to take diners on a culinary journey through South Korea.

The Streets of Barangaroo played host to the pop-up restaurant, partnering with Ted & Co. Events to deliver this feast for the senses.

The popularity of Korean cuisine is skyrocketing, and for good reason. It’s not just because it gives us more excuses to eat fried chicken (like we needed any more!) or that kimchi seems to go with just about anything – it’s also lively, comforting; and best of all, perfect for sharing.

There were plenty of delicious share plates on offer at ‘Seoul of Sydney’, from BBQ pork belly to grilled whole flounder to Korean fried chicken; accompanied by an array of kimchis, pickles and condiments.
